The Chicago Cubs have only a couple of pitchers that didn’t throw well in the 1st half

Only Scott Eyre and Wade Miller pitched bad in the first half of the season.  Lefty reliever Scott Eyre has been so awful this season that Lou Piniella is using him as a mop up man.  Eyre is 0-1 with a 6.60 ERA and a 2.13 WHIP so far this season.  It will be interesting to see if he shows any pride in the 2nd half or if he mails it in and steals money from the Cubs.  Wade Miller was in the starting rotation at the start of the season but he pitched so bad that he was put on the DL.  He has been rehabbing in the minor leagues but it appears that he will likely be let go as the Cubs have nowhere to put him in the rotation.  Miller was 0-1 with a 10.54 ERA and a 2.20 WHIP for the Cubs.
